 An Invitation to everyone especially all Catechists!

In the Year of Faith proclaimed by Pope (Emeritus) Benedict XVI, now would be a good time to address the many misunderstandings attributed down through the ages regarding the image of God.

Jesus, the Word of God Spoken in time and history, and marked down to us through the Gospels, revealed to humanity who God truly is in relation to humanity.

 Down through the ages, somehow this revelation took a meaning different from that of the Gospels.

 The image of God is very important.  It colors our self-image, the way we pray and the values that directs our lives.

 On Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Welcome Center, we will have a presentation on the image of God as seen and taught by Jesus.
Led by Rev. Fr. Dennis Loomis, M.S., Facilitator

 There will be a time for questions and discussions.

 

This will be open to all who are interested, especially those who are involved in religious education.

 

       - There will be no cost to those attending.  

      -   You may place your order for your Lunch with us or bring your own

        - Pre-register by August 17, 2013
